OK, so I upgraded to Win 7 and then started noticing that my NIC card goes out .. it will not read any wireless networks until i restart my computer. I was on the phone with Dell for 2hrs updating my drivers.. it still happens. I've noticed it more when I play World of Warcraft  then anyother time I can be on it for 20 to 30 min and then it just goes out. I want to verify that its not my NIC or a virus before I determine that its a prob with WOW.

    Virii won't affect hardware...
Get a new NIC card for 15 Bucks and be done with it.
    They do go bad...

Open the properties for the NIC and look for the power managment settings. See if its set to let the operating system shut down the NIC to save power.
