    amd phenom 965 vs i7 920

    Im asking here cause Im blocked from googling the answer being at work. Which is better between the phenom 965 140w vs i7 920? Or what are your thoughts on best for bang for your buck?
    I just purshased the 965 Saturday and am still waiting for my parts to get here. So that was my choice only because I know it will run anything I need it to and it was a little cheaper.

    This is what I went with:

    asus am3 mobo (cant remember model off hand)
    amd 965 black edition 140w
    ati hd 5770
    4gig gskill ddr3 1600 ram (2x4gig)

    It only cost me $560

      i7 is better, but thats still a pretty good cpu

      I think its about $80
      You will gain around 10fps in far cry 2 lol
