Download file missing after download completed

I having a awkward problem with my internet browser. Im using maxthon as my default internet browesr. I do using bitcomet to download. All the file i download from the internet through my browser went missing after download completed.

I did try use mozilla firefox internet browser to download a file. But the file link dosen't work although the file complete download. Anyone knows what happen to my window or browser?? Is that any worms intruded??

I've never used maxthon, but I'm sure there's a setting in options where you can set the preferred location to which you download.
