I need dire help. Here's my situation:
-I have a desktop downstairs, with a Linksys WRT54G router and a Cable modem.
-I have a laptop upstairs, (supposed to be) wirelessly connected to the router.
Since the other day, my laptop won't stay wirelessly connected for more than a few minutes at a time. During the short time I am connected, on the "available wireless networks" screen, it says I'm "not connected!" WHY IS THIS?!
This happened a few months ago, I fixed then it by setting up the "Secure Easy Setup" thing on the router. I tried that this time, but it doesn't work! What do I do? I can't figure it out! Please help as soon as possible! This is gonna make me go crazy! Thank you in advance!

What happens when you move the laptop closer to the router / try temporarily disabling your security (WEP or WPA) and see if that helps.

I tried... I get an "excellent" signal but it still constantly goes out. Also, I have my security disabled and it's still doing the same thing. :(

"Since the other day, my laptop won't stay wirelessly connected for more than a few minutes at a time." What has happened "Since the other day..."?
Need...more...info...gasp :P
Operating system / antivirus & antispyware protection / service packs installed / when did it start happening / did it ever work right / installed any new software?

Bluetooth devices? Microwave owen? Other wireless appliances that appeared in your house or nearby?
It could be an interference...
