Can someone explain to me what is edlin all about. ANyone know where can i get the code to test on it. I need it ASAP.

Angel:
Edlin is a line editor that came from the earliest days of DOS. It's pretty primitive, but it got the job done.
You can download it from:

It's part of the DOS 6 Supplemental disk.
Believe it or not, EDLIN is also found on Windows XP machines and probably all other window flavors. It's not used much anymore.
