Hello all,
I am new to this forum,i have question regarding hard disk, i dropped my hard disk and now it not working.
what should i do?

If the drive is no longer detected then you would have to send it out for service. This could be costly. You could contact the HDD manufacturer to see what they offer for data recovery services. Most people with drives with not very important data just toss the drive and start fresh with a new HDD or SSD. SSD would be the better choice for a drive that might get dropped in the future, although your sacrificing storage capacity for a drive that is shock proof.

Yes, i also think so too. It is better to fix it soon in case the date inside is gone. My friend dropped it too and she sent it for repair. They got the data back for her. Thanks
