Title: Insecure Networks
Post by: quickques on April 12, 2010, 01:31:54 PM
When connecting to an insecure network, is there anyway to find out if the administrator of the network that you're connecting to is viewing your computer activities, or is it impossible to find out?

Anything is possible.....

If you have a good firewall and your machine has security setup the chances of the admin of the web site are very low.

they said admin of the <network> nothing was said about websites.

quickques:

There is no way to determine this. the router configuration could be set to log activities, and, strictly speaking, the owner of the router has every right to monitor the activities of people connecting to their network anyway.
