Title: Need some expert help cause I'm stumped
Post by: chas521 on March 28, 2019, 07:48:35 AM
I'm putting some of my CDs on a flash drive to transfer to my Android phone. If the music is more than one CD for any particular artist, it transfers as 1-song titleA and 1-song titleB and so on with the 1 being CD1. Second
CD as 2-song titleA, etc. I have about 1000 songs on different CDs being transferred.

I want only the title to show. Is there a way to delete the 1- etc. portion of all the songs at one time so only the title is shown? If I have to do each song individually, it will take the rest of my life. LOL

Almost forgot, using Windows 7 Ultimate.

Transferring ripped CD's to a flash drive is not a good way to go. Ripped cd's are transferred as wma files which are much larger than MP3's. You should convert all wma's to MP3's then transfer them to the flash drive. I realize that it will take a lot long to do but it will be worth it.

Thanks.  I downloaded and installed the program but how do I modify the songs titles?

Yes I did.  That's the first place I went to.  However, I didn't see what I need about multi file changes.  I was hoping that you knew something.
