Title: Sound Drivers causing system to restart
Post by: stonedparadox on October 17, 2008, 09:59:41 AM
ok my lappy is running windows 2000 and basically i cant get ANY of the drivers to work for my sound card

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xbd90d17a, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini101508-04.dmp.

iv tried googling and i got to the microsoft page that tells u about the bugcheck lists but i dont think mine was on it

do u need other information?

If it's a Dell and you have installed another driver you will have issues...
Most Dell machines like only Dell drivers.
If you travel to Dell's site and enter your service tag # from the machine they will list all your drivers.
Revert back to the original one and you should be good to go...
