Title: Vista: Can't get Windows Updates

Hi:

I've got a Dell Inspiron running Vista Home.  I can't get windows updates as the program to launch it looks to be an emply folder.  It's path is "... system32\wuapp.exe startmenu" but when I go into system 32, there's no wuapp folder.

Well after a little more digging, I found the solution.  I ran system file checker (sfc /scannow) from the command prompt----that was it!
