Title: Help with my mic?
Post by: blargthealien on December 26, 2012, 10:24:53 AM
Hello,
I recently purchased a Samson C01u microphone to record for some animations I make - however over whatever recordings I make, be it on audacity or cakewalk I get a continual beep, like a less high pitched mosquito alarm. It is essentially stopping me from recording anything, as it's nigh on impossible to listen to for more than a minute or two, so if I try & record anything for an animation it'll probably really annoy anyone who watches it  :-\
Do any of you know how to fix this?
I'm running an Acer Aspire laptop, with an Intel Pentium processor P6100, 500GB HDD, Intel HD graphics, 4GB DDR memory, Realtech HD audio, if that helps - I really need your help on this, as if I cannot fix this I'll have to not use it, and I could barely afford this as it is - I have no idea why it's happening, and I've looked around to see what other problems people have been having, but very few seem to be having this god-forsaken beep.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
