Title: question about creating backup disk?

i am useing microsoftbackup and want to store it to cd,it says this media is write protected.  remove the write protectionor insert another media to continue.  the disk im using is cd-r. any suggestions? thanks

i also have some floppys but not sure how many i need would rather use cd but willing to compromize

You can only format CD-RW's.

Try copying and pasting the files onto the CD and see what happens. Any errors?

Don't forget to burn them (write files to CD). Copying and pasting them wont keep them on there. ;)
