Title: itunes update
Post by: apple266 on October 17, 2007, 08:41:21 AM
About every week there is a new update for itunes and it doesn't really change itunes very much. Is doing this every week required or can i just ignore it?

iTunes, to tell the truth, isnt the greatest software on earth (at least in my opinion)

Other than that:
Your updates are probably security related. It may be a slight security risk to stop installing updates (not a big one, but every few months its a good idea to check for updates to make sure)
(Yes, security updates. That is the only reason I can think of for why they would be weekly.)

Somewhere, there should be a settings/preferences/options area in your menu bar. (click here to see what a menu bar looks like (http://images.apple.com/support/mac101/tour/images/interface03-2.jpg))
Search your preferences for "Updates" and change how often it checks for them.
