Title: New build slower than expected
Post by: AcidicPhoenix on September 07, 2015, 12:02:38 PM
Hello! I recently built a gaming computer and expected it to run games at a much higher fps. Here is my build.
Intel Core i5-4460
Corsair CX 600 Watt
WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Drive.
EVGA GeForce GTX 970
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8G RAM
Sandisk 240 gig ssd
I know this isn't much and not really a problem but I don't know too much about computers and would like a experts opinion on it just too make sure I didn't mess up too bad. As a reference point I can play League of legends at barely 60 fps, and it drops significantly when more is happening, It can barely run COD BO3 beta at 30 fps. Again Idk too much about computers and any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you for taking the time to read this. ;D ;D

Are you using nVidia's GeForce Drivers or ones that Microsoft decided to chose for Windows as generic driver?

I'd go here and run the detection and update your driver for the video card if you havent already done so: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
