good way to get rid of pesky neighbors... or have them call S.W.A.T. on you, or whatever your local taskforce may be (knowing my luck they would use tear gas)...
-
That just goes to show what you can do with a little extra money and too much time on your hands.

these mods have givin me a great idea for my file server i wanted to build... build it with a mini ITX board, outta some useless electronic device, and VIOLA, server, tiny server at that
-
I think the term is "Voila". A viola is a stringed instrument, similar to a violin. ;)
Have you priced an ITX board with processor? The VIA processors are about equivalent to a PIII-500, although they do run cool. Some don't even require a CPU fan. (But my PIII doesn't require one either.)
-
i think i may just find a funtional GX1 PSU and Mobo, and put it in the dead Orion VCR that has been laying in my floor for the past several months... either that, or my old CD player, which used a tray load system, so i could easly put a normal CD or DVD drive in it... either way i want an old desktop PC built like the GX1 with the elongated PSU, if i cant find one, i can always cut a hole in the top of whatever i end up putting it in...
-
Or you could put the components in a viola.
-
A whole new meaning to 'playing your computer' :D
-
lol :D

if i had one laying around, i probably would ;D ... but i would rather use a VCR or somthing like that, i have enough junk laying around, like my dead CD player from 91 or 92, it has a tray for loading CD's, so that would make it easy to put a drive in

y not make a comp outta this, if sombody broke into ur house they wouldnt suspect it would be a computer! :D

I always wanted to try building a computer case out of Lego,
I just think it would be cool, if not a little fragile

i would rather get one of those old metal 30 gallon trash cans, turn it into a computer, then you could mount the monitor in it, and use the side as a opening panel to reveal the drives and monitor, would be cool ;D . kinda ghetto though...
-
slightly ghetto...
-
Like the sun is slightly hot. ::)
-
lol. i want to turn an old tool box into a computer, there are MANY objects i would like to turn into a computer
-
It seems you need to turn a computer into a computer. :o :o :o :o
-
That lego Comp is prety cool , but its mostly just a aquare box...
-
