Title: driver for compaq presario cq40

Good day...
 Could anyone help me with my problem.. Im looking for the driver of compaq presario cq40 for windows xp pro.... thanks for advance help.....

select your model on the left...it takes you to drivers/manuals/etc.

i already try it. the hp website only provide quick launch buttons driver, no other driver found there for xp..the site only provide drivers for windows vista

try using your model number and
look a little closer...OR NOT...

and it may NOT have WXP drivers for that model...see here

I download all the drivers there. some are working, thanks for the link. but there's still one driver to look for. its the driver for "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus", do you have any idea were to find this driver?

about a 1000 of them...it would be nice to know what the audio device is...anyway
you can start here:

but best to identify the device first, then look for the correct driver...IMO

but try these:

4. UAA drivers to enable the audio hardware for Windows XP.
Note: It is strongly recomended to install ths driver before you install the audio driver. If you do not install this driver the audio will not work.

thanks for the help. its now working properly...
