Title: Internet explorer shutting down
Post by: moorrless on September 15, 2009, 11:22:39 AM
I have a problem with internet explorer shutting down automatically.  It used to only happen when I went to the login page at AOL.  I would get a message that says "Internet Explorer has stopped working" every time I went to log in.  Now it just did it again when I went into a website to look at purchasing Microsoft Office.  It only seems to do this my everday account--I don't have these problems in my administrative account. Any ideas?

Under Accessories->System Tools, there should be an item named Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Try using this to log on to the problem sites. If it works, then one of your add-ons is causing the problem.
