Title: Deleting a gmail contact
Post by: Guzeppi on April 10, 2019, 11:09:40 AM
Usually I delete a gmail  contact, using the steps below:-

1. I open the list of contacts
2. I go to the name I want to delete, and I click on the figure of three dots to the right of the name.
3. I then click on delete.

This method worked until last February, but it won't work now.  Why?

My futile efforts are driving me crazy!

Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give me. (I am 80 years old now, and not as mentally agile as I was in my younger days. Have become a slow learner...and easily confused with computer navigation)

They changed the Contacts screen, I think. This is what I just did (on a PC)

1. Click the Apps Icon at top right.

2. Click on Contacts icon.

3. In your contacts, choose one to delete, and click the icon.

4. The icon changes to an unchecked checkbox. Click it to turn it to checked state.

5. Click the three-dot "more actions" icon.

6. Click the "Delete" action.

7. Click "Delete" to confirm you want to delete the contact.

the three  dots on the right side of the contact will help you delete it.
