Title: e2 fault code on mobo tyan tiger

Hello folks wonder if you can help. just got tyan tiger mobo with 2x xeon processors. press start button clicks into life little led counter sticks on e2 and machine beebs.monitor does not come on with a start up screen. got as far to find out cpu's need initualising. no obvious jumbers etc. can anyone help please, David

please be more specific

i did look up some thigns on a board i THINK is yours a product code like Tyan Tiger i7505 or something

The E2 code may have something to do with he RAM, its very picky i guess but i cant guarantee this info because i don't know the MOBOs make and model

yes sorry, tyan tiger i7505 (s2668) AGP, 5x PCI slots, Xeon processors are 2.8Ghz,533Mhz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache. it is running with 1gb ram installed. if you need more info let me know. thx for your assistance

Well yes it does when it finds the code they are short in alternating sound like a two tone siren.  I thought it may have somethiing to do with one strip of RAM will this board need it fitted in pairs? Many thanks for your help and advice.  Thx
