Title: Cant access a website..
Post by: vegasbass on September 03, 2008, 09:43:53 PM
Hi there.  out of the blue, we cant access www.carmax.com from our home computer anymore.  The site is currently up and running, because I can access it from work.  No changes have been made to our computer, and absolutely everything else works just fine.  I tried to send myself a link from another computer, and that wouldnt work either.  What the heck is going on and how do I fix it?  I routinely get my updates, do clean-ups/defrags, and check for spyware/adware.  Thanks in advance...

What happens when you try to access it? What browser?

Check your browser settings, and make sure it doesnt block any sites or anything.

Browser is Internet explorer. When I try to access the page it says "I/E can't access webpage", then it lists I think 3 possible causes (cant connect to internet, page is down and something else), none of which apply.

Try this yet?
Check your browser settings, and make sure it doesnt block any sites or anything.

If you have and with no results, try downloading FireFox and see if you can get to that web page.
