Title: Bluetooth phone problem
Post by: High1 on October 29, 2020, 02:53:09 PM
Hello

What might be the reason, please, why I can't connect to Bluetooth (pairing it with to my Android phone) on my Win 10 PC. I can see the Bluetooth icon on the phone (a ZTE Blade A3). When I go to Settings | Devices | Add Bluetooth or other device, Win 10 simply tells me 'Couldn't connect'. When the phone searches for devices, it can't find any.

I would like to share files on my phone with my PC and vice-versa.

Thank you.

Hi
Sorry your phone only has BT4.0 with support for these protocols A2DP, LE

LE is low energy and A2DP is  Advanced Audio Distribution Profile.
There is no data transfer protocols available.

You may be able to use USB and set the phone as a MPD device then the phone looks to the computer as a disk drive.

Or connect to the phone using wireless either with a program like AirDroid or AirMirror
