Title: Outlook Express problem
Post by: demojan on January 14, 2008, 05:35:29 PM
I have Outlook Express for e-mail.  I received an attachment that I could not open due to a dialog box pop-up that reads:  "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."   What the heck does this mean?  And how do I fix it so I can open this mail attachment??? Thank you in advance for your help...Jan

Save the file to disk and tell us which file extension (i.e .doc, .exe, .dll etc.) is used.

Maybe reply back to the sender, and ask specifics about the attachment, e.g. what file type, program required, etc...
