Title: Update windows 98

I have been running windows 98 for 5 years and have not received any updates in this time as i am new to going on line.  I have recently installed a new cd/dvd Rw and believe I need update drivers to resolve problems Im having.  I am only on dial up connection and would like to know the best way to resolve my problems.

The first thing to do is go to the Windows Update Site and let Microsoft tell you what you need. After 5 years there is probably a boat load of updates available.

If you are having a specific problem with your CD/DVD RW, go to the manufacturer's website, find your model and see what you need for Win98.

Also if you are new to the online experience, you should arm yourself with some tools:
