It's not ready for Vista... crashed all 3 times i tried it.

There is a free version of "TweakVI" here:
http://www.tweakvi.com/
I downloaded it the other day, but I didn't play much with it, yet.

I downloaded the free version of the program but couldn't figure out how to repair icons with it. Has anybody done this before and can help? Thanks so much

Worked fine the first time...broken after shutdown and re-boot.
:(

I tried to fix using the command prompt to delete iconcache.db but when I am in command prompt and type \AppData\Local it tells me "The system cannot find the path specified" Any suggestions?
-
and type \AppData\Local
You have to type in a WHOLE path:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local>
Doesn't it say that?
patio...sorry, it didn't work. Did you try that TweakIV?
-
When I start command prompt it already has C:\Users\MyName>
-
Oh, OK...I forgot...
At
C:\Users\MyName>
you have to type in:
cd AppData\Local
Hit Enter.
