Title: speakers

hello all,

my speakers (harmon karden) are seven years old and starting to die.
i have a windows 7 (64) program and i would like some advice on the TYPE of speakers to get.

they don't have to be concert quality, but i've never purchased speakers before so i do need help, PLEASE.

oops, forgot - it's a pc, not a laptop !

Suitable speakers are sold in some retail stores. They are called 'amplified speakers' and require AC power to boast the output to a normal level. The connector is a mini-plug with tip and ring. It is a 3.5 mm plug.

Try Radio Shack, Best Buy or Wall Mart.

A laptop is a PC. A portable one.
