However you might try This little Tool (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/aa905102.aspx)

Make a shotcut to the installer on your desktop, then right click on it and click Properties, then click the tab that says "Compatibility" and select Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Once the program is installed, do the same thing with the icon to Streets and Trips if it wont work in Vista.

This may fix the issue.

6. Click the Allow button if it asks you for permission
7. Type or copy and paste this into the command prompt window:

Post by: honvetops on March 30, 2007, 05:47:52 AM
Well,
I have disabled the  DEP  procedure at Least  6 times since yesterday.
I added*  to the allow programs to run list  (streets & trips) setup-intall
about 4 times..........since yesterday

this morning,  I turned off every security feature on this vista home premium...
firewall, I monitor security-not windows, viruses etc....
I completely unistalled the pre-loaded McCafee antivirus,  & restarted maybe 4 times.  It finally worked*.
I guess disabling all the security stuff helped...............?

ThANKS above for the ideas & help............. :)
