I tried joining a client then. I still get the same error checked an made sure the DNS number didnt change. I have the machine added in AD. I dont understand, why its doing this though. The server has a static IP. Getting 0x000005B4 in a XP client. Orginally, I was able to have no real problems settings this up. I changed the borad after it wouldnt boot to data center. Thing is that I ended the same information as I had previously. Installed AD, DNS an DHCP, the server has a static IP. The Router has DHCP Disabled. My laptop can see server but, its on a workgroup. Also, when I checked the DNS on the NIC settings on the Server it was my loop back address. Which, I was told to make it my servers IP. There is data that I want to move off the drive an on it.

As an I.T. technician, ISN'T THAT THE FIRST THING YOU'D CHECK??????!!!!!

-
Well you've broken it since then.

I was able to ping from my machine that I typically, use too it. However, when I try and join it I still get that error. I think its something with the DNS

History suggests that we will go round and round in circles for three pages, during which you will tweak so many settings that no one has any idea what the state is of these machines. I will offer some suggestions, but it is extremely difficult to help you. Sorry.
Double-check DNS configuration - watch out for typos, since you seem to excel at producing these
Double-check DHCP
Log in to the workstation as a local administrator and check that it has received correct DHCP-assigned settings
Try using the NET commands to talk to the domain controller from a command prompt. (NET USE or NET TIME, for example. More >here< (http://www.rustyspigot.com/groovyweb/?page_name=net%20use%20complete%20command%20reference%20how%20to%20tutorial).)
Beyond that, you're on your own and I am not going to commit any more time to this thread.

I have the machine with me know. I tried setting up my 2000 server again at home an it gave me the loop back for my DNS

I rest my case.

I didnt physically, do anything too this machine in its self. I just remade the 2000 Server too troubleshoot it form where the 2008 Server is located so I can troubleshoot it form the remote location.
