Title: AVG question?

Is it ok to remove the infected files in vault, i have 4321 files in there and i dont know if it is ok to remove them.

Sure.  If they were quarantined and you have not found a need for them, I would clean it right out.

They way I do it is if there is a virus the file gets healed or deleted.  I don't quarantine anything since that normally indicates that it is infected and can't be healed, so the file is of no use to me whatsoever.

HI I would remove then now do not leave them sitting there you may open one by accident anything that's in the vault get rid of

how did i managed, well, its a weird long journey, my computer tells a story itself, thats how i got them, ive gone  through i belive 3 harddrives with this computer.

whoopiedoo.......I just tuned in to the saga .........It's like a soap opera .....LOL ......... So whats the current staus ? Is the pc clean or ........still infected ?

well, when i turn on my computer, i cant get into windows, i also get a blue screen that says like "you have virus, you need to remove it, then load this dics, for more info see this manual" yadda yadda yadda.

ok ........download this.......it will sotr it...www.webroot.com spysweeper.      try anti-virus from majorgeeks  ;) its better than avg..?!#

theres no way i'll be able to run it, i cant even get onto windows to download it! all this time ive been using my friends labtop, and im still trying to find a way to fix mine.

Since you can't get into Windows, if your friend permits you to piggy back your disk into his system, you can use his computer to scan your disk for viruses depending on how uptodate the virus program is.  You can also download a Virus Stinger for free from McAfee use it to clean your disk too.  When cleaned remove to disk from your friend's PC and put it back to your PC, if all else fails you might have to rebuild and please use anti virus software.
