Hi can anyone help me , when i attach my apple itouch or ipod i get a message saying "usb not recognized" this as only started happening a week ago, two yrs previous everything was fine is this a problem with the usb drivers????
please help thanks :(

Did something happen to your system just before this problem appeared? Typically the chipset driver will enable the usb ports and unless you reformatted you should not see that error.
Open device manager. Any yellow exclamation points?

You can try reinstalling itunes etc before you plug in. I have an ipod an iphone so I have been through this before.
Just uninstall itunes then restart then restart itunes plug in your itouch and see what happens..

do you have an itune on your computer..? If not,
download it first and install it to your computer..

I would not worry about quick time or safari just take off itunes.
