Title: (free) alternative to Windows Media Player

Hi All,

I am looking for a good alternative to Windows Media Player. I am running Windows XP pro, 190mb ram, p III processor.

VLC Media Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) might be a bit laggy, depending on your processor speed.
Windows Media Player Classic (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm) is also very good. I have them both on my computer.

No Problem. It doesn't have all the codecs VLC has but I like it a lot.
