Title: Format and install Windows on PC without disc
Post by: tkh9917 on August 13, 2009, 01:43:32 AM
Is there anyway where one can format a PC and then install Windows in it without the use of disc at all?

Do you not have an installation disk?   If you own a valid key, you can probably get a disk for fairly cheap....

You could also, build your own XP installation disk, assuming that your Operating System Files are sound...  http://www.howtohaven.com/system/createwindowssetupdisk.shtml

You have to have the software copied somewhere to show where to install from.

Is this homework?

With only one drive/partition on the machine my answer would be NO...
