Due to lots of problem with my XP home, I installed XP Professional in my netbook - Acer Aspire AOA 150, Now XP Professional is working perfactly.

But I am getting above error while booting with XP Home, and I tried to access my data from newly installed XP Professional, but not able to do that.

Can anybody please help me to resolve this matter, below is the error what I am getting while booting XP Home.

A problem has been detected and windows has been Shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is first time .......................if screen appears again, follow these steps.

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed Hard Drive or Hard Drive controllers. Check your Hard Drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for Hard Drive corruption and then restart your computer.

1.  What error message do you get when you attempt to access the Windows XP Home files?

2.  To access files from the previous installation (broken Windows XP Home), take ownership of them from the working installation.  This should grant you access to them from the Windows XP Professional installation.
