Title: unable to view video ...a message "to install plug-in"

Hi

my computer is using Vista Premium....i have had problems trying to watch a video, etc. this message always came up..."to install plug-in" ...then I clicked Ok to install...then there is a list of plug ins to choose....Should I download Media Player 11. I have Realplayer already...Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

More details please. What video, what file extension, where is it from.
