Exceptions would have to be any attempt to covertly hide information on the hard drive, such a s some kind of malware programs. But I do not know of any examples.
Here is a recent item that makes a claim like that. I do not know if it is really true. You decide.

You may know NSA is the National Security Agency. They never spy on innocent people. Just ask them.
