Hi, check first if you have the following:

1) Wireless Router - where your DSL connected

2a) Wireless Network Interface Controller (WNIC) - connected on your Windows Server 2003 computer
or
2b) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) PCI Card - connected on your Windows Server 2003 computer

3) right driver for your wireless devices in 2a or 2b

WAN != WLAN.

Ok OP; so you've got a server with 2 NIC's yeah?  One for the WAN Connection and one for the LAN Connection?

How are you accessing the internet (i.e. ADSL through a modem/router)?

If so, the modem will need to plug into the server somehow (normally there is an ethernet connection from the modem to the server).

Are you wanting to just do internet connection sharing or are there applications and services that you are wanting to share between two different networks?
Can you explain exactly what you are trying to do and what you are expecting the setup to look like?

Here's my suggestion. Get yourself a wireless router. Plug your dsl modem into the internet port and your other devices into the other ports. There's no point in messing with internet connection sharing on windows if you don't have to and wireless routers make it super easy. Sure, windows has the capability built in, but there's a reason few people use it.

If you're set on using it, here's the documentation for it on TechNet: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/network/bb545655

guys  i was thinking  when a scenario popped into  my head--

heres the thing..... i got the following

wirless router
dsl modem
switch
 server 2003
workstations

ok..............  what i want to achieve i think is rather simple........

1) I want to be able to share internet between all hosts within the network but im not sure of the network layout...

i was thinking between the lines of pcs&workstations---> switch            switch and server to the lan port of the wireless ............... then wan port of wireless to dsl modem......

2)i want the workstations or any pc that is connected to receive ip from the dhcp server 03  and not from the wireless  router meaning whenever hosts are connected to the wireless they receive ip from the Physical DHCP SERVER 2003 and not from the wireless router

i was thinking maybe to turn off the dhcp on the wireless router and give it an ip that is within the same subnet...............

any ideas/suggestions

Phone line <-> dsl modem <-> router <-> switch <-> workstations & server

Shut off DHCP on your router, and make sure it's setup alright on your server with enough space to give the router a fixed IP in the same subnet.

The server doesn't need to go directly to the router, but it's an option...essentially look at it from that point of view like you would a switch.

Also, next time start a new thread. :)

If you use Server for DNS with a Domain Controller, set up a forwarder to the DNS addresses of your WAN (internet connection).  If you set up your modem connected to any computer directly with the network card set to dynamic connection settings, you should be able to see the dns by oppening the connection and getting the Details.  Then just plug modem into network card A on server or into router with static LAN address, set up DHCP on server and plug card B on server into network switch; make DHCP server call router or CARD A the router\gateway (using the Ip Address you get from Details), and link the dns name with forwarders as your domain name for DHCP.  Then point the DNS server to Card B interface.  This will have server DNS forward the lookups from the internet, and link your computers to your server with the suffix of your Domain name, while your Card A or router is set as the Gateway.
If you have Static IP settings, you should have the IP Address of the gateway (Static ip address on internet, not default Gateway of your WAN), and you should also have your dns lookups.  Use them similarly, but set your card a or router to have those settings first.
Capiche?

Further,
If you don't know how to set up a forwarder in your DNS, see this link
http://www.petri.co.il/install_and_configure_windows_2003_dns_server.htm (http://www.petri.co.il/install_and_configure_windows_2003_dns_server.htm) and try to follow along.  It will get to "Enable DNS Forwarding for Internet connections", and there you will find your answers.  Follow through the whole thing to make sure you didn't miss anything.
Good luck.
