Title: Remote Desktop Resolution
Post by: prosportal on January 24, 2011, 09:07:53 AM
Having an issues with a workstation regarding Remote Desktop not filling the entire screen when set to Full Screen resolution.

This is a web-based launcher, but I can't seem to find any configuration files locally so before spending a LOT of money calling the vendor's tech support, I thought I'd see if you guys have any ideas. See Pic.

I would dumb dameware.

This happens went you have a mismatch in screen resolution. You have to drop your colors down to 16 bit and then try to adjust the screen size on the client machine from inside dameware.

Well, it looks like it's stuck on 640x480 regardless of running full screen or windowed resolutions. There are about 20 of these workstations that RDP into the web server that don't have any issues at all. I'm just stumped as to where it gets its configuration.

"I would dumb dameware" ???

Typo  dumb = dump

Try to up your workstation resolution as a test. after that try to open dameware and check the client screen sizes and see if you can get any bigger sizes.
