Title: After latest Windows Update, can't log into my profile - is my hard drive fried?

takes FOREVER to login

finally logs into a temporary profile

dont know how to even go about fixing this

PC specs ??
What Operating system??
Any changes made (new software, hardware etc)
What programs are running at Start-up ??
