Title: Text effects-Powerpoint 2003 - shouldn't this be easy?
Post by: Steve M on February 10, 2015, 10:13:32 AM
I'm using Powerpoint 2003. I used to use a different version but that computer is gone. I used to be able to add glow effects and outline to text, not just text boxes, but I can't find how to do that in 2003 version.

Any ideas?

Did you check the online tutorial/pdf manual already just in case?

Couldn't find it. But detailed instructions I did find only describe adding effects to boxes, rather than the text/fonts.

A Google find: http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Text-Transitions-in-Powerpoint  I'm not sure it answers your question.

Nope, but thanks for trying. I'm not actually doing a slideshow or presentation. In the past I used Powerpoint to make comic strips and such, because it did what I wanted. This version doesn't it seems.

Highlight the text then choose Format Text effects - choose from left column box.
