Title: als 120 missing

the floppy on my computer does not detect the floppy disk when i turn the computer on it says advance logic hardware failure cannot find als120 what does this mean and how can i fix this problem please speak englinsh i am not familiar with computers send picture that will help as to how the floppy drive should be connected in the computer  :-?

Do you have an Advance Logic ALS120 sound card?  Is the floppy drive an external drive?  Do you have Advance Logic ALS120 sound card drivers (http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/als120.html) on a floppy?

So you have at one time dis-connected the floppy drive and now it doesn't work ? ?

Did it used to work ? ?
