Title: Daughter made screen fonts smaller on accident help
Post by: cattlekatey on May 01, 2008, 08:49:27 AM
My daughter was doing her online school and threw her leg up on the desk and on the keyboard. Some how she said the screen font kept getting smaller and smaller untill you can not read them. When she pulled her leg down it stoped but we can not fiqure out how to fix it. It is not like that on all screens such as this forum is fine but on her school some are and some are not. Also on some of my banking and such they are small and unreadable. What did she do and how can I fix it? My operating system is Windows 2000 profesional
Thanks for any help I can get

For your "banking and such", are you using Internet Explorer?

Right click on a blank area of your desktop, i.e. your normal computer screen in Windows, and select Properties.  In the Display Properties panel, select Settings.  What do you see there for "Screen resolution"?

If its just the text and not the screen resolution than hold down your control key and use the wheel on your mouse to change the size.

If what Spoiler suggested does not work for you, try: click start, click control panel, click display.  In the Fonts box size should be set on normal.  Change the font size, click apply and reboot.  If that corrected problem or if it did not change your fonts back to normal.
