Title: My comp sucks

Ive run Adaware, Spysweep, Spybot S&D and windows washer yet my comp still randomly reebots and my internet explore home page is still bein changed to a website called "about:blank" how do i make my computer not suck my OS is XP

Scan for viruses and trojans. I donot know what Windows Washer is (never heard of) but the rest are NOT virus scanners. Properly configure them as well.

Also download the latest (security) updates from Microsoft.

Janet.....Now now dont be so hard on your computer....it sounds very much like you have a hijacker...it's not too malicous ..just *censored* annoying.
As Robertmillar suggests .......D/l and run CW Shredder...
I dont think it will remove it but it will contain it. To remove it I think you will have to D/l hijackthis......

I suggest you go to the following sites and they explain how to read the log that hijack this will create and explains what to remove.

Please look at the computercops pages and then the hijack this will make more sense.

i cant even seem to open hijackthis however the C W Shredder removed 3 variants
