Title: Shutdown Question
Post by: ericmorg on July 06, 2005, 07:09:21 AM
I recently installed a new Hard drive to my computer a Gateway running Windows 2000.  Before the new harddrive when I clicked the shutdown button my computer would shutdown completely.  Now when I click the shutdown button, it shuts down but I then have to press the button on my tower to finish the shutdown.  Is there a way that I can get it back to shutting down without this extra step.

Thanks

Eric

Try enabling APM in the Control Panel Power Settings.

Is this a new OS install or is it an additional HDD?
