Title: Rolling And Bleeding Screen
Post by: Hardhead on December 26, 2010, 02:15:49 PM
I have a screen problem that goes where it wants to go, you have to keep bringing the window back to where you can view it.

I also have a bleeding screen prob. that opens up multiple screens on top of each other, this will go away after a period of time.

Been doing it for a length of time which didn't bother me until it got so extreme.

I have WindowsXP-3 home.
I have the maximum ram installed
Computer indicates I'm using less then half of my cpu

Anybody have any ideas? thanks

1)What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

2) Have you run full scans with BOTH your av utility AND MalwareBytes?

Thats hard to say, this has been going on for a long time, since I don't use the computer for anything important I will put up with most problems; this one has reached my limits, (I do get a lot of errors that flash thru before I can read them)

>>>Have you run full scans with BOTH your av utility AND MalwareBytes?<<<

I run daily scans with multiple utilities (including MalwareBytes), it's rare for them to pick up more then cookies, can't remember the last thing that was red flagged

Just wondering, have you updated your video card drivers lately?

To be honest with you, it sounds like a prank program that someone has put on your puter. I have several that act exactly like  what you are describing.  Just my thoughts.
