The website says: "aseus Data Recovery Wizard 5.0.1 is available as a Giveaway of the day! You have  15 hours 2 minutes to download and install it." 

So, it must be installed today?  It won't work if you download it today but don't install it until sometime after today?

Correct. Free items obtained from the Giveaway of the Day site have a 24 hr window for download & installation.
