I want to build a new drive for my PC but am having trouble building a bootable floppy that will allow me access to one of my Cd-rom drives.
My C Drive is a removable and a fixed D Drive. I also have a HP DVD300i dvd writer and a generic cd-rom drive.
I would be gratefull for any assistance.
Note: I tried the dos 6.2 boot disk from bootdisk.com and it didn't work. Couldn't load either cd-rom.

The generic Oakcdrom.sys file should work for the majority of all CD-ROM drives. You may want to try this file, if the file does not work you will need to contact the manufacturer of the CD-ROM / DVD drive or visit their website to obtain the MS-DOS drivers for the drive.
We also recommend you visit the below pages.
