BEWARE THIS IS A WARNING
DOWNLOADED FROM DIGITAL RIVER 4 TIMES AND 4 TIMES EACH DOWNLOAD FAILED DO NOT USE LINKS FROM MICROSOFT COMMUNITY THERE LINKS ALSO PUT YOU AT DIGITAL RIVER.
THERE DOWNLOADS ARE OUT OF DATE AND NO GOOD I THOUGHT MY COMP WAS BAD WENT THROUGH A NIGHTMARE OF WIPING MY COMP CLEAN ALL THEY WAY DOWN TO NOTHING EXCEPT FOR BIOS. THIS WAS A WASTE OF ALOT DAYS TIME. I FINALLY GOT A DOWNLOAD FROM A REALLY UNKNOWN WEBSITE AND GOT MY CORRECT VERSION OF WINDOWS 7 FOR REINSTALL

I've bought lots of software through Digital River and am curious as to what you exactly downloaded for an application that caused you so much trouble?

For what it's worth... I posted some bad news about Digital River today.. However, if they work out a new deal with Microsoft, the company can get back on track.

Digital river is a respected company, I trust them a lot more than any other dodgy sources that you are using. The download probably failed due to your connection. "Thier downloads are out of date?" - Err... Surely Microsoft's official distribution partner gets the newest versions of everything...
It is not Digital River's fault that you spent time reinstalling your machine, you misdiagnosed the issue and decided to do that, surely the proper course of action would have been to test the download on a different computer and/or connection.
