1) Go to google maps and click "Get Directions"
2) In from type "New York City"
3) In to type "London"
4) Get directions
5) Read step #23 and check the plotted course.

Heh. Pretty funny. Long trip too: 3,938 mi (about 29 days 10 hours)

I did that once for directions from my home town to Paris. I like how they expect you to start driving after you swim the Atlantic, like there's a car readily available or something. :)
Oddly, Google Maps cannot find driving directions across the Pacific... :)

And a good point Dilbert, unless they expect you to carry a car across on your back, or steal one.
Then again, I guess they can't recommend going to an airport or ferry or something because it'd be powerful advertising, sending everyone to one company to get across the Atlantic.
