Hi there
I have Windows XP SP3, and it works fine, but the annoying thing is, I cannot drag files from the desktop into another or existing folder, which is also situated on the desktop. If I attempt to do it, the result is nothing.
The only way I can do is to use the copy/paste facility
It was such a handy feature.
I also have an outboard 500GB hard drive (USB) and I used to be able to drag files and folders from and to the desktop.
But somehow I have lost this capability. Also the copy/paste function is grayed out very frequently, which can be a real nuisance.
I wonder if there is a solution to this.
Regards
Bert

Sounds strange.
First, have you a backup of you stuff?
And do you have a good AV program installed?
Try this. Create a link to the shared folder. You should be able to grade a file on the Desktop and drop it into the link to the shared folder.
