Does the blue screen come up after a reboot too?
In other words, is this stopping you using your PC, or is it a one-off?
What changed before this happened?

The error is a common one:

http://www.google.com/search?q=0x000000D1+XP+Professional+site:microsoft.com&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-29,GGLG:en&start=0&sa=N

To narrow it down, does the error message mention any file (such as one that ends with a file name extension of .SYS)?

Do you have a real XP CD if needed?

Again, some history on the machine would be helpful. What did happen prior to this? Any other known problems?
