Title: online play -warcraft

anyone familiar with ways to help me get online with this game?
new purchase, allowed port connections, still can't login  ?
any ideas?

for starters are you talking about warcraft 3, or world of warcraft?

do you have a legit cd key? what step are you up to? how you been able to log in previously?

World of Warcraft  _ "Blizzard"  everything is legit,  bought at wally world (Walmart)....and
have the 60 day online card.
I did setup the account(trying to login) and have a name/password

A friend of mine is now playing and thats why I am trying this out... When and if I can get online, is that where I create my own character?  I cannot seem to at this stage. I have all 5 disks downloaded on my machine.
 I go into the help section when I can't get online and reading thru I am guessing I have a problem with my router and or 2 firewalls...
Should I checkout  that   [ tracert.txt file]  <<   ???
If I knew I could only play this thing in the online world, I might not have bothered......

Unfortunately, our game forum is generally barren, so it can be a bit hard to find answers here sometimes.  And because I don't have any solutions, all I can do is suggest trying the official WoW support forum (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=11110&sid=1).  Just give them as much info as you can and hope for the best.  Good luck.  If you come up with a solution, let us know so it's here for future reference.

If your looking along the lines of a trial you can get one at blizzards website.
